There are moments in our lives when it feels like everything stops. There was such a moment for me during a bike trip along the Lahn River. That was when watching these geese peacefully swimming along, looking like they had not a care in the world.

This is a folding bench from a cafe along the Weser River. This was a morning when there were floating ice sheets on the river surface. There was an atmosphere of quiet stillness from the freezing temperature.
